Trees for Troops
The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, the FedEx Corp and MWR will present free Christmas Trees for Troops ® Dec. 4 and 5 at the Thunder Mountain Activity Centre parking lot. The trees are donated by more than 800 Christmas tree growers from across the United States. They will be available free of charge to military families with military ID card. December 4, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Active Duty E5 and below may pick up trees. Then from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 4, ALL military families may pick up trees. IF TREES REMAIN, they will be available for pickup Dec. 5 from 8-10 a.m. for all ranks. For more information, call 533-3354 or 533-5714.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
