WHAT HAVE YOU FAKED FOR A PERK?

What have you faked for a perk? What lie did you tell to get special treatment, and was the lie something you said or something you did, like wearing a fake cast? When did you catch someone faking something? Listener responses included:
  • Told flight attendants I was pregnant to get the aisle seat-I really just had a UTI and had to use the bathroom a lot and that was easier to explain.
  • Broke my foot and my cast got me to the front of amusement park lines. After the foot healed, I faked that it was still broken to get line privileges.
  • Faked being a hotel guest to use the pool.
  • Faked my daughter's age to get free meals.
