THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Meghan Markle's Makeup Artist Hails Her as "the Most Chill Person." Meghan Markle may be one of most famous royals in the world, but to her makeup artist Daniel Martin, she's still simply Meg. The Duchess of Sussex and new mom of Archie Harrison has certainly amassed a new level of fame since getting engaged to Prince Harry in 2017 and walking down the aisle inside St. George's Chapel to marry him six months later with a world of eyes watching. Earlier that day, few people got as close to the soon-to-be duchess as Martin, who worked as her makeup artist when she was an actress and was selected for her special day. However, even he didn't anticipate the level of significance that day would hold or the immense impact doing his famous friend's makeup would have on his career. "Nope. Zero. I mean literally it was like a friend asking me to do her wedding. I was like, 'I'm happy you're happy, of course I'll do your makeup,'" he recalled on the Gloss Angeles podcast. "But I didn't anticipate being asked to the wedding either. And at that time, my other best friend was getting married the weekend after in Tuscany, so I'm like, 'Oh, ok, cool, this works out because then I can get to Europe early ... but it really didn't hit us, like Serge and I, until we were in the car and that we understood the capacity of what that day was going to be like. Because we were driving right behind her and we were just seeing people who had been outside for hours trying to just get a glimpse that's when we were like holy s -- t this is like major." The immensity of the event was magnified by the fact that they hadn't been looking at their phones before the nuptials. "I mean, we had our phones off, so it was just like we didn't know what was happening outside of that tube," he described. "It was like this moment in time that I'm always going to have. But, I have to be honest, it's kind of a blur because so much happened in that 15 hours, but it was an incredible moment just to see your friend be married to the person that they love in such a way that you honestly felt like... everyone that was there, waiting, and who showed up, who flew in from other countries to witness this, you felt that 100 times." Despite everything that was about to unfold and what it meant for her life, the bride remained calm. "She's the most chill person and that morning was just, like, easy. That's why it didn't... nothing fazed us," he said. In fact, Markle had not even done a makeup trial with the artist, which is customary for brides-to-be. "I didn't have a makeup trial with her because we just couldn't make the time. I knew what she liked and what she didn't like," Martin said. "We exchanged like Pinterest pictures over text." Fortunately, 10 years of working together and some inspiration photos were enough to make an iconic bridal look -- one that has forever tied him to Markle. When asked if it's weird being called "Meghan Markle's makeup artist," he said it's been "interesting." "She gave me an incredible gift... I don't want to say it's challenging, but I just have to know that that's always going to be the case," he explained. "And it's not a bad thing to be associated with her, but that's always going to be." (Eonline)

Forbes released its 2019 list of the top 10 highest-paid actors in the world on Wednesday, and "The Rock" secured the top spot. According to the magazine, the 47-year-old actor raked in about $89.4 million between June 1, 2018 and June 1. Johnson landed the no. 2 spot last year, falling behind George Clooney. Per the publication, the celeb is collecting an upfront salary of up to $23.5 million for Jumanji: The Next Level and commanding up to 15 percent of the pool from high-grossing franchise movies, including Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In addition, Forbes reported the star gets paid $700,000 for every episode of Ballers and pulls in "seven figures" in royalties for his Under Armour line. Chris Hemsworth came in second place with estimated earnings of $76.4 million, and Robert Downey Jr.. came in third with reported earnings of $66 million. However, they're not the only Avengers to make the top 10. Others stars on the list include Bradley Cooper (tying for no. 6 with estimated earnings of $57 million) and Will Smith (no. 10 with estimated earnings of $35 million). Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron Are Now Going on Dinner Dates With Serena Williams, Of Course. Now this trio is a grand slam. On Tuesday night, Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron grabbed dinner at NYC's La Esquina with none other than Serena Williams. (Her pals Cully Smoller and Kendall Visser also tagged along.) Clad in boyfriend jeans and a white tank, the 24-year-old model looked casual next to the Bachelorette runner-up, who chose gray shorts and a red tee for the evening. Later, the tennis champ was seen leaving the Mexican eatery with the duo. The meal is just another outing in an already lengthy list of public dates between Gigi and Tyler, who originally met on Instagram. The pair were first seen together at Brooklyn's Dumbo House in early August. They've since hung out at Frames Bowling Lounge, Justin Therouxs new bar Ray's and, of course, her apartment. Tyler is often spotted making an exit the following morning. Not to mention they recently vacationed in upstate New York. "The connection is there for sure," a source previously told E! News. "She looks really happy and calm with Tyler around. It's like she is herself around him, no pretense of act." The feeling is mutual. "Tyler likes Gigi and definitely wants to keep seeing her," shared a second insider. "He wasn't sure if it would turn into something but they have are having a lot of fun and don't want it to end, that's for sure." "They are seeing each other a lot and texting all day long," added the insider. "He's excited about her." But for now, they're avoiding putting any pressure on their budding romance. After all, Gigi recently ended a serious relationship with Malik while Tyler is fresh off the Bachelorette -- and, ICYMI, he spent the night at Hannah Brown's pad just days before seeing Gigi. "They are both very into each other but Gigi has been really hesitant about getting serious with him," explained a Gigi source. "She really enjoys hanging out with Tyler and he has spent the night over her house multiple times now. Tyler makes Gigi laugh continuously while they are together, and it's been a while since someone has sparked her interest." "They have a strong connection but are definitely just testing the waters right now," the source continued. "They both like to hang out with a few of their friends to make it seem more casual, but Tyler always ends up staying the night alone at Gigi's house." Here's hoping this romance stays rosy. Randall Emmett's Ex-Wife Calls Out Lala Kent for Posting Pictures of Her Children. Well here's one way to get your message across. Drama appears to be brewing between Lala Kent and Randall Emmett's ex-wife after a social media post began to circulate online. It all started when the Vanderpump Rules star shared photos of the children her fiance shares with Ambyr Childers. Apparently, Ambyr isn't a fan of Lala sharing photos of the kids on social media. As a result, she decided to sound off on social media, "Since you don't want to answer my text messages, I'll try here," she wrote on Instagram Stories. "Lala, I appreciate your love towards my children, but until you're officially their stepmother, please refrain from posting my children on social media!" Ambry continued. "I hope [you] understand where I'm coming from. Many thanks." Lala and Randall have not publicly commented. And as of press time, several photos of the kids were still on Lala's Instagram Stories. While the Bravo reality star tries to keep her relationship with Randall and his kids off of Vanderpump Rules, Lala previously described herself as a "stepmom." "Ah, she's so fun. Because I get that role of, like, you can feel safe with me but we can also have the best time ever because I'm not your parent," she previously told Entertainment Tonight. "Randall and the mom do such a great job of raising them so I let them handle that part and then I'm the one who's like, here, have some lip gloss. You want to do fake nails? We can do fake nails." As for Lala and Randall's future together, the couple continues to plan their wedding that is rumored to be scheduled for April 2020. "The couple that makes moves together stays together," Lala previously shared on Instagram with her main man. Time to watch what happens! (Eonline)

There's taking a loss in the real estate market, and then there's this -- the mountaintop property once considered the most expensive in the history of L.A. just sold for 10,000% less than asking price ... WTF?! Here's the deal ... the Beverly Hills lot -- fittingly dubbed The Mountain -- went for a meager $100,000 at a foreclosure auction Tuesday despite once being listed at $1 BILLION, but it actually cost the buyer a lot more than that. That's because back in 2004, it was purchased by an investor from the estate of Mark Hughes -- the late Herbalife founder -- but only after he borrowed $45 million from the Hughes estate. Long story short -- the investor didn't pay much back on the $45 million loan, so it ballooned to $200 MILLION with interest and fees. The Hughes estate foreclosed on the delinquent loan and auctioned off the property this week. Here's the thing ... only around 20 people showed up at the auction, and no one made a serious bid. So, in the end, the estate bought it back for $100,000, which sounds crazy. But the thing is ... they also swallowed the $200,000,000 delinquent loan, which none of the other 20 people were willing to do. Still, sounds like a great deal. The Mountain is a massive 157-acre plot of land in Beverly Hills sitting atop ... well, a mountain. As one can see, the estate looks down on all of L.A. ... all that's missing is a godlike mansion. Now that it's back in the control of the Hughes estate, it will likely hit the market again with a ginormous asking price ... but maybe not a billion bucks this time around. (TMZ)

Larry Bird is adamant he's NOT a "tattooed guy" -- and he ain't happy with a new mural in Indiana that depicts him as a walking canvas. The NBA legend's attorney has reached out to Jules Muck, the artist who created the Bird tribute on a Fountain Square building in Indianapolis ... an image that shows a young Bird with ink on his face, chest and arms. In the mural, Bird looks like a SoundCloud rapper -- with tats showing everything from bunnies humping to the word "Indiana" on his forearm ... there's also a clover (Celtics) and a spider web. The image is a playoff of Bird's famous 1977 Sports Illustrated shoot, when he played for Indiana State. But Bird's attorney says the image is a problem because the REAL Larry doesn't have tattoos and Larry feels he "needs to protect" his brand. "Larry's position is he has elevated himself from where he began to where he is now through a lot of hard work. He has developed a brand that is marketable and he needs to protect that brand," attorney Gary Sallee told IndyStar. "The mural, as originally painted, was a departure from that brand." The artist says she's conflicted about how she'll handle the issue she's still considering her options. (TMZ)

Tyson Fury says he'd only need ONE hand to beat Andy Ruiz's ass ... and he tells TMZ Sports he'd even let the fans pick which arm he would use!!! "I only need one hand for him," Fury said. "One hand." The boxing superstar's fight schedule is pretty booked up this year ... he's got a bout with Otto Wallin on Sept. 14 and a rematch with Deontay Wilder set for Feb. 22, 2020. But, Tyson tells us he'd be down for a fight with heavyweight champ Ruiz after that ... saying, "I can never say no to anything." But, Fury says the fight probably wouldn't be a good one ... telling us he'd wreck Ruiz!!! By the way, Fury didn't use up all his trash talk on Andy ... he also guaranteed a knockout in his fight with Wilder, saying, "I don't believe Deontay Wilder is going to put the Gypsy King to rest." "No way!" (TMZ)

How Scientology Is Being Challenged Amid Recent Allegations. Sparking controversy. Four women -- including Chrissie Carnell Bixler and Marie Bobette Riales -- are accusing the Church of Scientology of harassing them. They also all claim to have been sexually assaulted by actor Danny Masterson, a member of the controversial church. Bixler, Riales and Jane Doe Nos. 1 and 2 want their day in court. "They have a story to tell," a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, "and will no longer be silenced." "Make no mistake, the Church of Scientology is under attack," the source adds, claiming that the media is no longer intimidated by the organization, and victims can now use their voices. "It's a new era," the source tells Us. "Victims are realizing they do have recourse, and they don't have to be afraid anymore." The four women filed a stunning lawsuit on August 14 accusing Masterson, 43, the Church of Scientology and its leader, David Miscavige, of trying to silence them through intimidation ever since they filed sexual assault charges against Masterson with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2016 and 2017, respectively. The civil suit alleges that the women -- three of whom are former Scientologists -- have been subjected to stalking, slander, libel and a conspiracy of harassment. Masterson and the church have strenuously denied the allegations. The That '70s Show alum, who's been married to actress Bijou Phillips (a fellow Scientologist) for eight years -- the two have a daughter, Fianna, 5 -- says he plans to sue the women "for the damage they've caused me and my family," and a Scientology spokesperson calls the suit "baseless," adding, "It's a dishonest and hallucinatory publicity stunt."
