Quentin Tarantino Is Expecting His First Child With Wife Daniella Pick. Quentin Tarantino is stepping out of the director's chair and into a rocker, because he is going to be a dad. The famed director and his wife, Daniella Pick, are expecting their first child together. In a statement to E! News, a rep for the couple shared, "Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are very delighted to announce that they are expecting a baby." This new chapter in Daniella and Quentin's love story begins nearly a year after the pair wed in a romantic Los Angeles ceremony. A rep revealed to E! News at the time, "They got married in an intimate and private wedding with close friends and family in their place in Los Angeles." It was truly a private event, with only about 20 people in attendance to watch the director and Israeli singer exchange vows. For the big day, the bride wore a white strapless designed by Dana Harel, before ultimately changing into a white slip dress, which was also partially designed by Harel, for the reception. Much like their 2017 engagement, the famous pair kept things low-key and hosted their guests at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Since their nuptials, the pair has maintained a busy schedule. Once the 56-year-old wrapped filming on the highly-acclaimed film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, they jet off to various countries to promote the film. Together, they stole the show at the star-studded premiere at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. More recently the duo attended the Moscow red carpet for the movie. Luckily, now that the flick has been released with great success, the two can return to life as normal. Or, as normal as life can be when you are one of Hollywood's biggest directors. People was the first outlet to report the happy news. (Eonline)

Justin and Hailey Bieber are set to say their "I dos" again in a place that's way off their usual paths -- but, obviously, they've fallen for the charms of South Carolina. The Biebers finally sent out their save the dates, and TMZ got a sneak peek at the comic book-style card announcing their 2nd nuptials. It's short on specifics -- this isn't the formal invitation -- but says the ceremony and party are going down Sept. 30 in South Carolina. You'll recall ... this is Justin and Hailey's 4th attempt to get their wedding party on the books -- and it looks like the couple has finally settled on a time and place to pull the trigger. Now, on the face of it, ya think ... what gives? Justin and Hailey have no special connection to the Palmetto State. The Biebs has nothing but Canadian roots, and of course, the Baldwins are New Yorkers through and through. So, it appears their choice boils down to nothing more than -- WE LIKE THIS PLACE!!! Justin and Hailey were spotted last week around Palmetto Bluff -- a gorgeous waterfront area on the May River, which is a major tourist attraction. Bieber's also been there before, on tour and otherwise, and seems to dig it. The southern charm must have rubbed off on Hailey too. Truth is, South Carolina's known for stunning wedding venues, so it's not as odd a venue as you were thinking. Here's another little nugget we found -- our sources tell us party planner to the stars, Mindy Weiss, is putting the Biebers' shindig together. She's done events for the Kardashians, Heidi Klum, Ellen DeGeneres, Ciara, Diana Ross, Katy Perry ... and tons more. The only question now -- will you have the catfish or the shrimp??? (Eonline)

Jamie Foxx Defends Sela Vave From "Home Wrecker" Claims After Katie Holmes Split. Jamie Foxx is setting the record straight on his rumored romance with singer Sela Vave. On the heels of his split from Katie Holmes, the rapper is addressing the numerous rumors surrounding his love life, including a potential relationship with the 21-year-old singer. In a video, which Sela shared to her Instagram, the rapper explains that he has simply taken her under his wing. According to Foxx, he is mentoring the aspiring musician, as he did for Cannon and Ed Sheeran, who apparently slept on his couch in the early days of their career. Jamie states, "I'm not no old n---a out here with no young folks. You know what I'm saying?" "It's a double standard when it comes to women -- when it was the guys, everything is cool but when it was the women, they try to make it something else but we are going to try to protect our own," he explains. "And like I said, I spoke to that girl's mom and she put her trust in me." The 51-year-old adds, "So all of the unnecessary hate for the woman just because the guys are coming here [to record at Jamie's studio], all of sudden they're digging hard, they're working hard but then the girl does it and all of sudden she has an ulterior motive? Stop that shit." Jamie also makes it crystal clear that he doesn't "ever cross the lines like that personally," so any rumors of a relationship between him and Sela are simply people "scandal chasing." But it doesn't look like Sela is letting the haters get to her. She tells her followers that the gossip and insults are nothing to her. "For the people who care... here is the TRUE story... for everyone else you can keep talking and calling me a whore, s--t, home wrecker, thot, gold digger, that I should die, and whatever else you want. I'm out here to work and do what I love most," the Instagram model shares. Luckily for her, she has the full attention of Jamie now that he is no longer dating Katie Holmes. On Monday, a source confirmed to E! News that the two celebrities ended their six-year relationship in May. (Eonline)

Larry King 'totally surprised' wife Shawn with divorce filing. Larry King's soon-to-be-ex-wife Shawn was completely blindsided by his divorce filing, according to pals. Sources close to Shawn -- who has been married to the broadcasting legend for nearly 22 (often tumultuous) years -- told us that the first she heard of it was when she started to get calls from reporters who had obtained the divorce papers at the LA courthouse. Insiders said Shawn is away in Utah, where she spends a lot of time visiting family, and that neither her husband nor his lawyers called her to break the news to her. She "was totally surprised," said an insider. The Blast reported that Larry filed the papers Tuesday, citing "irreconcilable differences" and listing the date of separation as June 6. (PageSix)

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Will Still Drive in Race Next Week Despite 'Lots of Swelling' from Plane Crash. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife, Amy Earnhardt, and their young daughter, Isla Rose, were in a fiery plane crash in Tennessee on Aug. 15. Dale Earnhardt Jr. isn't letting his recent plane crash stop him from getting behind the wheel. The race car driver, 37, announced on social media that despite suffering injuries from the frightening plane crash last week, he still plans to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway on August 31. A fan asked Earnhardt Jr. on Twitter Wednesday if "with the events of last week are you still racing at @TooToughToTame next week?" Earnhardt Jr. responded, "Yes." He added, "I plan on driving still. My lower back is bruised up real bad. Lots of swelling and I just need that to go down and the pain to chill out. I been treating the area every day solely to get well to race. I have a plan B but hope not to use it." Earnhardt Jr. and his wife, Amy Earnhardt, and their young daughter, Isla Rose, were in a fiery plane crash in Tennessee on Aug. 15. The crash reportedly occurred at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Elizabethton. "A Cessna Citation rolled off the end of Runway 24 and caught fire after landing at Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee at 3:40 p.m. today," an FAA statement read, according to The Tennessean. An Elizabethton Fire Department official told PEOPLE that Amy, 37, and Dale were transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution and without serious injuries. Later, Ralph Hicks, a senior investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board, said in a press conference that "the airplane basically bounced at least twice before coming down hard on the right main landing gear. The airplane continued down the runway off to the end, through a fence and it came to a stop on Highway 91." Dale shared a statement to both Instagram and Twitter on Aug. 19 after the crash, saying that he was feeling grateful for everyone's support and well wishes. "Amy and I want to thank everyone who has lifted us up with phone calls, messages and prayer since last Thursday. We are truly blessed that all on board escaped with no serious injuries, including our daughter, our two pilots and our dog Gus," he said in the statement. "With respect to the investigation, we will not be speculating or discussing the cause of the accident. I am thankful for the quick response of my pilots, local law enforcement, emergency personnel and hospital staff," the father of one continued. "Lastly Amy and I continue to be very appreciative of the privacy extended to us to process everything. It has been important to do that together and on our own time," he concluded. (People)

Lori Loughlin Is Keeping 'Meticulous Records' on College Admissions Case, Says Source. "Lori is obsessing over every detail of the case," a legal source tells PEOPLE about Lori Loughlin. As Lori Loughlin awaits her fate in the college admissions scandal, the Fuller House star is solely focused on her and husband J. Mossimo Giannulli's court case. "Lori is obsessing over every detail of the case," a legal source tells PEOPLE. "She's not working, she's not doing anything. She's just reading the files again and again," the source says about Loughlin, 55. Adds the source: "The family was told to remove their Google alerts and to stop searching their names because it's not good for them to see what's being said. But this is a full-time concern of hers." On March 12, the U.S. attorney's office in Massachusetts announced it had indicted Loughlin and Giannulli, 56, in the shocking nationwide scam dubbed Operation Varsity Blues. The pair and nearly 50 other parents, coaches, exam proctors and admissions counselors are accused of such actions as paying for boosted SAT scores and lying about students' athletic skills in order to gain them acceptance to elite colleges including Yale, Georgetown and Stanford. Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 to admissions consultant William "Rick" Singer to falsely designate daughters Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20, as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, though neither actually participated in the sport. While 14 defendants, including actress Felicity Huffman agreed to plead guilty in April, Loughlin and Giannulli declined a plea deal. "They weren't ready to accept that," says the legal source. Loughlin and Giannulli are due back in court Aug. 27, when they're expected to waive their rights to separate attorneys, as both are being represented by attorneys from the same law firm in order to put forth a "united front." For now, the pair is busy preparing for their day in court. Loughlin remains in "constant communication" with her legal team and is keeping "meticulous records" on everything -- including the other defendants and their plea deals. "She wants to know who is getting what punishment and how their cases differ from hers," says the source. (People)

Naomi Campbell denies knowing about Jeffrey Epstein's 'indefensible' crimes. While Naomi Campbell may have partied with Jeffrey Epstein, she says she knew nothing about his "indefensible" crimes. The supermodel addressed her ties to the multimillionaire pedophile in a bizarre YouTube video on Tuesday, where she responded to questions from an unidentified, off-screen reporter as though she was on a real news show. "What [Epstein] has done is indefensible, and when I heard it sickened me to my stomach just like everybody else," said the 49-year-old fashion icon. "I've had my fair share of sexual predators and thank God I had good people around who protected me from this," she added. "I stand with the victims. They are scarred for life." One of Epstein's accusers, Virginia Giuffre, and his alleged madame Ghislaine Maxwell, were pictured on a yacht in the French Riviera where Campbell was celebrating her 31st birthday with her then-boyfriend, Flavio Briatore. Giuffre, now Roberts, was 17 at the time. Campbell said she was introduced to Epstein at that 2001 party in Saint-Tropez, by Briatore, an Italian businessman. In addition, "He was always front-and-center at the Victoria's Secret shows," she said. Campbell has been a staple on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway and appeared in ad campaigns for the brand, owned by Epstein's billionaire benefactor Leslie Wexner. According to depositions given in a recently unsealed lawsuit, Campbell was also a guest on the late sex offender's private jet -- though she doesn't address that in the faux-interview. Her video message focused on a Mail on Sunday article that questioned why she was receiving a humanitarian award when she has "rubbed shoulders" with the likes of Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. "I find it extraordinary that of all the hundreds of thousands of people that I've stood next to take pictures with at a public event they've only chosen these few," she said, calling the article "character assassination." She then whined that "it's going to be very difficult to be photographed at public events because you're going to be thinking, 'If you do take a picture, it's going to be taken out of context and used in a negative way.'" Tommy Lee wanted a bite at Emeril's, but all he got was the boot ... he says he got thrown outta the joint because he dropped an F-BOMB when staff asked him to take off his hat. The Motley Crue drummer and his new wife, internet personality Brittany Furlan, were at LAX Tuesday when they broke down their dinner fiasco in New Orleans ... they say the people running Emeril's Delmonico lost their lids over some caps and a harmless curse. Tommy and Brittany say they were both wearing hats when they entered the fancy establishment Tuesday night, but only he was asked to remove his ... and that's when all hell broke loose. Ya gotta hear Tommy defend his use of the F-word with more "f**k yous" ... and stick around to watch him go digging for gold. There's no beef with Emeril himself ... but sounds like Tommy and Brittany will be dining elsewhere next time they're in New Orleans. Can't blame 'em, plenty of good eats in that town!!! (TMZ)

Miracle on Ice Hockey Player Mark Pavelich Charged with Attacking Neighbor with a Pipe. The former NHL player's family says that he suffers from the degenerative brain disease CTE. A former NHL player has been charged with assault after allegedly attacking his neighbor with a pipe, causing multiple injuries. Mark Pavelich, who spent five seasons on the New York Rangers and also played on the Minnesota North Stars and San Jose Sharks, allegedly hit his 63-year-old neighbor at his home in Minnesota, according to the Star Tribune. Pavelich is perhaps best known for being part of the iconic "Miracle on Ice" U.S. Hockey Team that beat the Soviet Union in the semifinal game at the 1980 Winter Olympics. The incident allegedly took place after the two men had spent the day fishing together, and Pavelich, 61, accused his neighbor of spiking his beer, the outlet reported. After the alleged attack, the neighbor was hospitalized and suffered two cracked ribs, a bruised kidney, a fractured vertebra, bruises all over his body and potential internal bleeding. Pavelich is currently in jail at the Lake County Sheriff's Office on $250,000 bail after being charged with assault, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office's online jail roster. The Cook County Sheriff's Office and Pavelich's attorney did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's requests for comments. On Monday, District Judge Michael Cuzzo ordered a hearing to determine Pavelich's mental competency to stand trial, according to the Washington Post. Pavelich's family members say that he suffers from CTE because of "all the concussions and the blows he had in the NHL." Symptoms of the degenerative brain disease include "impulse control problems, aggression, depression, and paranoia," according to the Concussion Legacy Foundation. "Mark is the most kind and gentle person you'd ever know," Pavelich's sister Jean Gevik told the Star Tribune. "This is a totally different guy," she said, adding that the family noticed him struggling with "anger issues, damaging property" starting about two to three years ago. Gevik, who attended Monday's short hearing along with his mother, also said that Team USA hockey coach Herb Brooks once said that "Mark had one very bad head injury that he was surprised Mark lived through," according to the Star Tribune. Pavelich's family maintains that he needs medical care, and that his actions are because of his disease. "All the research is out there about CTE," Gevik said. "This should not be a surprise here." Pavelich has largely stayed out of the spotlight since retiring from hockey and is now a land developer. His wife, Kara, died in 2012 at age 44 after falling from the second-story balcony of their home accidentally, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. (People)
