Miley Cyrus Was the One Who 'Ended Things' With Estranged Husband Liam Hemsworth. She's just being Miley? Miley Cyrus was the one to pull the plug on her marriage to Liam Hemsworth, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. "Miley was the one who ended things with Liam," the source tells Us. "They haven't been together for months." A rep for the 26-year-old singer confirmed Cyrus and Hemsworth, 29, called it quits after nearly eight months of marriage on Saturday, August 10. "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time," the statement read. "Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy." The Last Song costars exchanged vows at their Nashville home in December 2018 after dating on and off for a decade. While Hemsworth declined to comment on the split news on Monday, August 12, Cyrus was spotted packing on the PDA with Brody Jenner's ex Kaitlynn Carter in Italy the day before the breakup news broke. Jenner, who confirmed his split from Carter earlier this month, joked about his ex's fling with Cyrus on Sunday, August 11, via Instagram. "Let's round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out," Jenner's friend and The Hills: New Beginnings costar Brandon Lee commented on a photo of the DJ. Jenner quipped back, "Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon." Cyrus then weighed in, taking a jab at Jenner. "@brodyjenner go take a nap in your truck and cool off," the Disney alum wrote. "#HotGirlSummer." Hours earlier, Cyrus shared a lengthy message about change on social media. "Don't fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable," she wrote. "The Dolomites were not created overnight, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed. My dad always told me 'Nature never hurries but it is always on time'... it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own ... " (UsMagazine)

Jana Kramer Opens Up About "Divided" One Tree Hill Cast With Former Co-Star Bethany Joy Lenz. Jana Kramer is taking a walk down memory lane and spilling some tea. The 35-year-old country singer and actress opened up about her time on CW's hit series, One Tree Hill. Fans might recall she joined the cast in 2009, during the show's sixth season. On a recent episode of her podcast Whine Down With Jana Kramer on iHeartRadio, Kramer chatted with former co-star Bethany Joy Lenz about the "very divided set." "It was hard for us, because I felt like when we came on the show, just being so honest, it was a very divided set," Jana told Bethany. "I feel like everyone already kinda had their places and it was either, are you going to be in the 'A team' or the 'B team?' It was just tricky." She explained she felt showrunner, Mark Schwahn, sort of "created that environment" among the cast. In 2017, Schwahn was accused by several women of sexual harassment. Bethany agreed with Jana on how divided the cast was and wishes she could go back and change that aspect of it. "It would be great to go back and not have it feel like it was divided in any way or when we were going through a rough patch," the 38-year-old actress said. Despite everything that happened on set, Kramer expressed that she "loved" her character, Alex Dupre. "Alex was really fun and spunky," she said. Lenz gushed about Kramer's character, too and admitted she loved doing scenes with her. "You were such a firecracker, you always had such a great energy," the Pearson actress told the podcast host. "I loved being in scenes with you because there was a firecracker in the room and you never knew when it was gonna go off." And with reboot's becoming a huge trend in television and film, Joy doesn't feel it would be best to bring back One Tree Hill, since the creator of the show would be compensated. "None of it would have to go to the showrunner," she shared. "The problem is the creator of the show, on any incarnation of the show... that's a big issue. And I think that would be the big thing standing in the way. Unless, he was willing to donate it all or something." However, she added that if the cast were to film the series today, it would probably be a way better environment. "I think we're all just older now and it's so much easier to really enjoy each other's company and enjoy showing up at work, appreciate having a job, appreciate being some place we know we have such a huge fan-base." Anne Hathaway Recalls Subtly Being Told to Lose Weight For a Role When She Was Just 16. Back in 1999, a young -- and eager -- Anne Hathaway landed her first gig on the short-lived drama series, Get Real. (The Princess Diaries came soon after, don't worry.) But rather than celebrate, she was subtly told to focus on her body. "At 16 years old, it was 'Congratulations, you have the part. I'm not saying you need to lose weight. I'm just saying don't gain weight,'" the Oscar winner recalled to Allure for their September issue. "Which, of course, means you need to lose weight." Now, two decades later, the 36-year-old is still thinking about her figure albeit in a more positive light. Take, for example, her experience on set of her latest flick, The Last Thing He Wanted. "I have [costume designer] Ane Crabtree asking me what my body does on my moon -- which I realized meant my period -- and so she can make adjustment for me," Hathaway said. "It was just this beautiful thing." However... "I am cautious in my praise of how Hollywood is shifting," she noted. "There is so much more body inclusivity -- which is great! -- but the thin thing is definitely still the centralized 'normal' expectation." For the upcoming thriller, she was actually asked to pack on 20 pounds, which, she told Allure, she happily agreed to. Alas, while prepping for the part, she still had to, of course, shut down body shamers. "I am gaining weight for a movie role and it is going well," Hathaway wrote to her Instagram followers last year. "To all the people who are going to fat shame me in the upcoming months, it's not me, it's you. Peace xx." Now, looking ahead, the pregnant star -- she is already mom to Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, 3 -- is optimistic. Especially when it comes to women a making change in Hollywood. "It's more nuanced, and it's more interesting," she admitted. "It's allowed for more interesting characters and stories. Now the big question is are audiences appreciating it? If it's not supported, it won't continue. It will go back to the way it was, and people will say, 'Okay, that didn't work.'" The September issue of Allure hits newsstands on August 20. (Eonline)

Bachelorette's Hannah Brown Reveals She's "Struggling" After Roller-Coaster Year. It's been quite a year for Hannah Brown. The Bachelorette celeb reflected on her recent journey in a raw Instagram post on Monday. "Honest policy: I'm struggling," she began. "Life is so different. Since last August, I've been a pageant queen, a Bachelor contestant, and the Bachelorette. I've been in love with multiple people, I got engaged, I broke off an engagement, and I shared it all with millions of people. My faith has been questioned by thousands who don't know my heart, and my transparency with my decisions has labeled me promiscuous. Simultaneously, I've become a role model for young women and started bigger conversations around faith, and sex." The season 15 star then revealed she's living on her own for the first time and "shuffling through this life of next steps with press, media and opportunities galore." "I miss my friends and family that have watched my life explode," she continued. "I feel guilty because I don't have the time or emotional capacity to fill each of them in on my life right now. I can't keep up with the people that matter most, because I can barely keep up with my own life right now. I am not complaining about this past year of adventures." In addition, the Alabama native opened up about how she's evolved over this past year and how she continues to do so. "The woman who has emerged would shock the mirror-image young girl from a year ago," she added. "I have so many blessings to be thankful for. However, it's uncharted territory for me, and it's been hard to really process what the heck is going on. Maybe I needed [to] write this out to remind myself I'm human and it's okay to be overwhelmed. And maybe, I just needed to remind you guys, too. Life is beautiful, but wild. I think it's okay to be strong -- to know you're strong but to still feel weak simultaneously. I believe that's when the magic happens. My spirit has opportunity to grow and blossom from this place. Healing and restoration can happen." Near the end of her post, Brown opened up about how she's leaning on her faith. "I can rest knowing that My Savior has compassion and wants to help and love me through this journey," she wrote. "I've just got to let Him. I don't know if I have been lately -- but I am now because honestly, I think I would give out if I didn't. So yeah, I'm not going to struggle to disguise my weakness -- I'm just gonna give over the keys to my main man Jesus and let him bless me through this ride. Isaiah 54:10." Of course, she received tons of support from her franchise family. "Nailed it," Colton Underwood wrote in the comments section. "Keep being you HB... proud of you!" "So much truth in this post!!" Cassie Randolph commented. "I could not have said it any better. Life is wild but beautiful. And so unexpected. It's hard to complain because there is so much good, but it's also easy to get overwhelmed. I think the biggest thing is searching for balance...Which is MUCH harder to find than one would think! Thanks for this nice little reminder and you're doing such a great job with everything :)." This past year has certainly been an emotional roller-coaster ride for Brown. Fans met the reality star on Underwood's season of The Bachelor. She then went on to hand out the roses on the most recent season of The Bachelorette. She ended up accepting a proposal from Jed Wyatt; however, she called off their engagement after learning he had been dating another woman before coming on the show. However, her journey to find love didn't end there. During The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, Brown reunited with Tyler Cameron and asked the runner-up if he'd like to grab a drink. Just a few days later, he spent the night at her place. While many fans thought the two were ready to give their relationship another go, that all changed after Cameron was spotted hanging out with Gigi Hadid. It looks like Bachelor Nation will just have to stay tuned to see what's next for Brown. (Eonline)

black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Rania 'Rainbow' Barris divorcing after 20 years. The ABC comedy is loosely inspired by Barris' life and relationship with his wife. Kenya Barris, who created the ABC comedy black-ish, has filed for divorce from his wife of 20 years, Dr. Rania "Rainbow" Barris, the Associated Press reported. Los Angeles Superior Court documents show that Kenya Barris filed the papers on Friday, the day of his 45th birthday, according to the outlet. Barris and his wife, an anesthesiologist, married in 1999 and have six kids. He also co-created the black-ish spinoff, grown-ish; and the prequel spinoff, mixed-ish, which follows the upbringing of Rainbow Johnson (Arica Himmel). Dr. Barris previously filed for divorce in 2014, but the two reconciled and withdrew the request the following year. Black-ish is loosely based on Kenya Barris' own upbringing, and the onscreen relationship between Andre "Dre" Johnson (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow "Bow" Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross) is also partly inspired by his marriage. In an interview with EW, Dr. Barris said that direct storylines from the show have come from her life, such as the season 4 episode where Bow experiences postpartum depression after the birth of her fifth child. Dr. Barris also said that the fourth season plotline showing Bow and Dre's marriage nearly collapsing wasn't reflective of her marriage, but noted that it was an amalgamation of difficult moments from their past. She told Barris as the separation narrative was being discussed, "I think you owe it to your viewers to show this." Ahead of black-ish airing the plotline, Barris released a statement explaining why the show chose the topic for its first serialized arc. "Dre and Bow have never been immune to tough situations, just like marriages in real life, including my own," he wrote. "We want to shine a light on the challenges a relationship can face and the necessary effort to try and work through them together." (Entertainment Weekly)

Todd Chrisley Says He Has "Nothing to Hide" Over Alleged Financial Crimes Indictment. Todd Chrisley has "nothing to hide" amid rumors of a pending federal indictment. The reality star took to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 12 to reveal that he and his wife, Julie, could potentially face charges for alleged financial crimes. However, the story is not as straightforward as one may expect. The Chrisley Knows Best star claims that a disgruntled former employee set out to convince investigators at the U.S. Attorney's office that the Chrisley family is responsible for allegedly committing a myriad of financial crimes. He alleges, "It all started back in 2012, when we discovered that a trusted employee of ours had been stealing from us big time. I won't go into details, but it involved all kinds of really bad stuff like creating phony documents forging our signatures, and threatening other employees with violence if they said anything." Chrisley even claims that the employee bugged their home, at which point they fired him and took him to court. But these actions apparently escalated the feud with the employee. "To get revenge, he took a bunch of his phony documents to the U.S. Attorney's office and told them we had committed all kinds of financial crimes, like tax evasion and bank fraud," Chrisley explains. "That got their attention all right, but once we had a chance to explain who he was and what he'd done to us, they realized it was all a bunch of nonsense and they sent him on his way." The U.S. Attorney's office later got re-involved when the former employee "persuaded a different set of investigators at the U.S. Attorney's office not only to reopen the case but also to grant him immunity from prosecution for his own crimes and bring charges against us," according to Chrisley. As a result, Todd says that he and Julie "are going to be named in a federal indictment of other financial crimes" later this week. Tod asserts that he is sharing their story because "we have nothing to hide and have done nothing to be ashamed of" in regards to the crimes. "Not only do we know we've done nothing wrong, but we've got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it," he insists. Despite the potential indictment, the real estate mogul thanks their friends for the support and promises to "work every day to earn your respect, loyalty, and admiration." E! News has reached out to Chrisley's attorney for comment. (Eonline)

Katy Perry accused of exposing model Josh Kloss' penis at party. A male model has accused Katy Perry of sexual assault. Josh Kloss, who appeared as the love interest in Perry's 2010 "Teenage Dream" music video, claims that the singer exposed his penis to a crowd of people at a party. "It was Johny Wujek's birthday party at moonlight roller way. And when I saw [Perry], we hugged and she was still my crush," Kloss, 34, wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis." He added, "Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed i felt?" The model said that he felt compelled to come forward on the anniversary of the video's release because he feels movements like #MeToo only focus on female victims. "I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting," he wrote. "So, for all her good she is an amazing leader, her songs are mainly great empowering anthems. And that is it." He added that even though clips of the music video he starred in are constantly used by the star, Kloss was only paid $650. "I continued to watch her use clips of her music videos for her world tour and then her dvd, only highlighting one of her male co-stars, and it was me," he said. "I made around 650 in total off of teenage dream. I was lorded over by her reps, about not discussing a single thing about anything regarding Katy publicly. And a couple interviews they edited and answered for me." He added that it was "one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I've ever done." The "Dark Horse" crooner been accused of inappropriate behavior in the past. Last year, Perry made an "American Idol" contestant "uncomfortable" when she gave him his first-ever kiss without his consent. She was also said to have grabbed Shawn Mendes' behind on a red carpet without his permission, though the "Senorita" singer later took back the groping allegation. A rep for Perry did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. (PageSix)

The Walking Dead Actor and Firefighter Dango Nguyen Dies from Cancer: 'He Touched Many Lives'. Dango Nguyen acted under the stage name "Dango Nu Yen" and appeared in multiple episodes of the AMC show's third season. Dango Nguyen, a beloved Georgia firefighter who pursued a career in acting and appeared on The Walking Dead, died over the weekend after a "hard-fought battle with cancer." He was 48. The Athens-Clarke County Fire and Emergency Services confirmed the sad news on Facebook on Saturday and praised Nguyen for his commitment to the department, his admirable strength and his long-lasting impact on others. "It is with tremendous sadness that we mourn the loss of one of our former firefighters. Dango Nguyen passed away early this morning after a hard-fought battle with cancer," they wrote. According to his IMDb page, Nguyen began his acting career in 2011. A year later, Nguyen nabbed the role of the guard on The Walking Dead. He appeared in several episodes throughout the AMC zombie apocalypse drama's third season, playing the guard who protected the town of Woodbury and The Governor (David Morrissey) from Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). His time on the thriller series ended in 2013 and Nguyen went on to appear in several other shows including Banshee, MacGyver, The Gifted, Star and a four-year stint on The Originals. Once diagnosed with cancer, Nguyen continued to document his health journey on Instagram and kept his followers in the loop with his progress. The former actor even had shirts made in his honor that read "Dango Strong," which he and his loved ones used as inspiration to keep fighting against the illness. Despite not serving in the fire department at the time of his death, the Athens-Clarke County Fire and Emergency Services said Nguyen always remained an important member of their squad and would be greatly missed for everything he brought to the world. "Once you're a firefighter, you're always part of our family. And Dango was a very well-known member of our family," they wrote. "He will always be remembered for his physical and mental strength. CNN anchor Chris Cuomo went nuclear on a guy who called him a derogatory name, threatening to beat his ass. Chris was in NY Sunday when a guy approached him and called him "Fredo" ... the insulting name of a character in "The Godfather" ... a name that connotes weakness. Chris is from a proud Italian family and it set him off, challenging the man, threatening ... "I'll f***in' ruin your sh*t. I'll f***in' throw you down these stairs." Cuomo told the guy ... the name "Fredo" is as offensive to Italians as the n-word is to African Americans. He's a popular anchor who's made a name for himself as a fair-minded guy, but everything dissolved into abject rage as he scoffed at the guy who claimed -- clearly falsely -- that he thought Chris' name was Fredo. It escalated even further -- Chis was clearly looking for a fight ... challenging the guy to take a swing at him. He did not anchor his show Monday night ... it's unclear if he was scheduled to appear or whether he was off. UPDATE: A CNN spokesperson tells us, "Chris defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup. We completely support him." (TMZ)

Sprecher, 65, was picked up by the feds at around 6 a.m. at his home on West 122nd Street in Harlem, which agents were searching, the sources said. The case was brought by Homeland Security Investigations in conjunction with the NYPD. The 2012 opening of Sprecher's production of psychological thriller "Rebecca the Musical" was torpedoed by Mark Hotton, an ex-stockbroker from Long Island, who scammed him out of more than $60,000 in fees with bogus promises of lining up $4.5 million in investments. Beverly Kaskey, a former MGM and Samuel Goldwyn Co. staffer who helped oversee the annual Genesis Awards, died July 22 in Los Angeles after a long battle with cancer, a publicist announced. She was 71. The Genesis Awards, launched in 1986 by late Broadway actress Gretchen Wyler and now run by the Humane Society of the U.S., honor those in the media and entertainment industry who shine a light on the plight and rights of animals worldwide. Born in New York and raised in Beverly Hills, Kaskey began as an assistant at MGM in 1986 before she worked on premieres, afterparties and screenings as a director of special projects. Later, she produced major HSUS galas in L.A. and New York. Survivors include her cousins, Judy, Julie and Elaine; brother-in-law Trevor and his wife, Sandy; and Judy's sons, Adam and Alex.
