THE AGE AT WHICH WE ARE MOST ATTRACTIVE

Do whatever you want to fight aging as bullishly or gracefully as you can, but know this while you're coloring your hair and getting shots of Botox: We are most attractive at age 31. After that, it's all downhill when it comes to our looks. That's the word from the 10th annual survey of 100@100, a poll of 100 100-year-olds taken by United Health care. Fun facts about aging, according to 100-year-olds:
What age is "old"? 87
Most attractive age: 31
Most energetic age: 34
Healthiest age: 46
Wisest age: 49
Most content age: 56

When asked what age they truly feel, more than half (52 percent) of 100-year-olds say they feel much younger than their actual age. How young? On average, centenarians say they feel like they are 79 years old. Keeping a positive attitude is the most important factor in staying healthy, according to a quarter of the centenarians surveyed. The next most popular answers are eating healthy (21 percent), exercising regularly (10 percent) and keeping busy (9 percent). Nearly two-thirds (61 percent) of 100-year-olds say they see themselves as being very positive people. In addition, nearly half of centenarians (47 percent) say it gets easier to maintain a positive attitude with age.
