How the Royal Family Feels About Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Documentary. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new documentary appears to have caused quite a stir in the royal family. Over the weekend, ITV aired Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which documented the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal tour of Africa. The documentary featured interviews from both Harry and Meghan, during which they both addressed the media attention, as well as backlash, they've been receiving. Harry even discussed the rumored rift between him and brother Prince William during one part of the documentary. "Inevitably stuff happens," Harry told journalist Tom Bradby. "But we're brothers, we'll always be brothers. We're certainly on different paths at the moment. I'll always be there for him and as I know, he'll always be there for me. We don't see each other as much as we used to because we're so busy but I love him dearly." So, what did the royal family think about the couple's documentary revelations? According to royal sources, they were "fairly astonished" by the "level of personal detail" that Harry and Meghan shared in the doc. It seems as though eyebrows were raised over the decision to discuss, on the record, Harry's feelings about a "distance" between him and William, when the Palace has "tried so hard to play down rumors of a rift in recent months." According to a royal insider, "There also seems to be a lot of bemusement within the royal family about what exactly Harry and Meghan are trying to achieve, as members of the royal family do not usually speak in such detail about personal matters." The source adds, "It's fair to say that there is a deep sense of unease in the royal households about the direction this is all headed." During the rare interview featured in the doc, Meghan opened up about the scrutiny she's faced as a royal and as a new mom to baby boy Archie Harrison. "Look any woman, especially when they're pregnant, you're really vulnerable," the Duchess of Sussex said. "And so that was made really challenging and then when you have a newborn, you know... and especially as a woman, it's really, it's a lot, so you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed, it's, um...Yeah, well I guess... and also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I'm OK, but it's, uh, it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes." It was during the royal couple's trip to Africa that Prince Harry issued a powerful statement against the British press for bullying his wife. It was also revealed that the royals are taking legal action over the publishing of a private letter written by Meghan. Days later, it was reported that Harry is suing the owners of the Sun and the Daily Mirror over alleged phone hacking claims. E! News has reached out to the Palace for comment. (Eonline)

Prince William and Prince Charles Are 'Concerned' About Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's battle with the press is cause for concern for Harry's brother, Prince William, and father, Prince Charles, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. "William is extremely concerned about Harry and Meghan," the source says. "Even though the brothers have grown apart, William still cares about Harry and is hoping that he'll open up to him about his current struggles. William wants to be there for Harry and hates seeing him in such a bad place. Despite their differences, blood is thicker than water." The insider also notes that Harry, 35, "suffered from bouts of depression" as the two brothers "went through hell" following the 1997 death of their mother, Princess Diana. Now, William, 37, is "terrified" of history repeating, the insider adds: "Harry's a very sensitive guy, and Charles is worried, too. This is a time when Harry needs his family the most." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up about their frame of mind in the new documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which comes after they launched legal actual against The Mail on Sunday for "bullying" the Suits alum, 38, after the newspaper published a private letter she wrote to her estranged father, Thomas Markle. "It's an accumulation, and Harry refuses to sit and do nothing as the British press scrutinizes Meghan and invades her privacy," a source previously explained to Us. "Meghan comes across as a strong woman, but she's been deeply affected by the negative stories about her." In the documentary, Meghan said that she was unprepared for the scrutiny. "When I first met my now-husband, my friends were really happy because I was so happy, but my British friends said to me, 'I'm sure he's great, but you shouldn't do it because the British tabloids will destroy your life,'" she said. The former actress also discussed her "really challenging" life as a new royal and a new mother. "Especially as a woman, it's really ... it's a lot," she explained. "So, you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom and trying to be a newlywed ... Not many people have asked if I'm OK, but it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes." As for William and Harry's reported tension, Harry admitted in the doc that he and his older brother have "good days" and "bad days." "Part of this role and part of this job, this family, being under the pressure that it's under, inevitably stuff happens," Harry said. "But look, we're brothers, we'll always be brothers. We're certainly on different paths at the moment but I'll always be there for him and as I know he'll always be there for me." Harry & Meghan: An African Journey airs on ABC Wednesday, October 23, at 10 p.m ET. (UsMagazine)

Sharon Stone thinks her 1992 cult classic "Basic Instinct" was an intriguing film, but isn't quite sure it could be made in 2019. "I think 'Basic Instinct' was made at the exact right moment in history because it captured all our fears and doubts and the moment of change of power for women," she said in a new interview with Allure. "I doubt that it would have any form of the sensationalism it had at the time." Stone, 61, added, "When I began my career, there were only two ways we were allowed to sit: cross at the ankles or ankles under the chair." "Basic Instinct" is about a detective (Michael Douglas) who becomes involved with the main suspect (Stone) of his murder investigation. One of the film's most iconic scenes includes Stone spreading her legs during an interrogation in a room full of men. "When I was younger, everybody was telling me what was wrong with my body -- too this, too that," Stone said. "When I got on 'Basic Instinct,' they hired a makeup artist that put on pounds of makeup every day, and every day I went to my trailer and took the makeup off. But I wasn't allowed to choose my makeup artist, nor was my name [above the title] on the poster." The "Ratched" actress commented that she loves her body now and is grateful for it. "I started to understand that I was going to go for being more like a European woman who got more beautiful with age and who could understand that women are more beautiful than girls because they know something," she said. Kylie Jenner's no fool ... when she sees something that's hot, she tries to own it, which is what she wants to do with the catch phrase, "Rise and Shine." Kylie filed legal docs asking the feds for ownership of a slang version of the famous wake-up call ... "RIIISE AND SHIIINNEE." The trademark would cover belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear and undergarments ... as well as cosmetics. Kylie did a YouTube tour of her office earlier this month, walked into Stormi's room where she was sleeping in her crib and began singing "Rise and Shine" to wake her up. It exploded online and the Kardashians/Jenners are noting if not brilliant business people, so what better ploy than to ride the wave and take advantage. As we reported, the hashtag #RiseandShine hit a billion views on TikTok earlier this week, making it the fastest spike ever on the platform. She's also already selling sweatshirts with the phrase, and they're sold out ... and you have to imagine, a makeup line is in the works. (TMZ)

Kelly Ripa's Son Gave Her a Job on a Film School Project Assigned by a Professor She's Known for Years. The professor was responsible for casting Mark Consuelos as her husband on All My Children. Michael Consuelos recently asked his mom Kelly Ripa to help out with his film school project -- but it turns out the assignment was given by a professor who Ripa knows very well. On Sunday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host announced on Instagram that her 22-year-old son, who is currently a student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, had asked her to be a producer on his film project. "When your son gives you a job... .. ???????? #filmschool #tvshow #producer" Ripa, 49, captioned a photo of herself and Michael smiling. The following day, Ripa discussed her new "gig" on her talk show and revealed that she actually had a very special connection to Michael's professor -- he was a director on All My Children for 11 years and was responsible for casting Mark Consuelos as her husband on the show! "The professor of this class is the professor that directed -- he wasn't a professor at the time, he was a director -- he directed the screen test between Mark and me at All My Children," Ripa explained to her co-host, Ryan Seacrest. "So, when Michael was touring all the film schools ... he got into several film schools and he was trying to make a decision and he kept waiting for a sign, something to hit him in the head," she continued. "Because wherever he was, that's what he liked, so he kept waiting for the sign." That sign finally came to Michael while he was touring New York University's campus with his mom and ran into Christopher Goutman, who now works as an Academic Director and Assistant Professor at the Tisch School. "We're walking down the hallway and I hear a voice I know [say], 'Consuelos!'" Ripa recalled. "He turns around and I see Chris Goutman, who was our director at All My Children ... I worked with him for 11 years." "And he goes, 'You have to come here because I am literally the reason you exist!'" Ripa went on. "And that's how he made a decision!" Ripa starred as Hayley Vaughan on All My Children from 1990 to 2002. Consuelos, 48, officially joined the soap opera's cast as Hayley's husband Mateo Santos in 1995. The pair then tied the knot a year later, in 1996. The actress has previously admitted that the moment she first saw her now-husband, she knew he was the one. "I saw my husband in a photograph before I saw him," Ripa told Bruce Bozzi for his SiriusXM Radio Andy show "Lunch with Bruce" in Aug. 2018. "I knew when I saw his photograph." "They had been looking for this character for some time. They were looking really for a Latino actor," Ripa recalled. "And so I had auditioned every Latino actor in the city and around the city and then California. And then all of a sudden, Judy Blye Wilson, who was the casting director at All My Children, said, 'I found him.'" At the time, Consuelos had just graduated from college and was a "green" actor who hadn't done much work. "[Judy] showed me his picture and ... at that point, I was not a hopeless romantic. I never thought about getting married, it never occurred to me that I would grow old with someone. I just thought I would be living my single girl life in the city," Ripa explained. "When I saw him, the photograph of him, I saw my entire future with him flash before -- like I saw it. And I don't believe in any of that and now I do because of that moment." More than two decades later, the couple are still blissfully in love and have three children together. (In addition to Michael, they also share son Joaquin, 16, and daughter Lola, 18, who is currently a first-year student at NYU.) It appears Michael may be following in his parents' footsteps, too. The NYU student landed a guest role on Riverdale in Aug. 2018 as the young Hiram Lodge -- a perfect fit as the adult version of the scheming mobster is played by his father. The film major is expected to graduate from NYU this coming spring. (Eonline)

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Are "Doing Very Well" Following Split. It's all "positive vibes" between Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. Earlier this month, E! News learned that the beauty mogul and the Grammy nominee decided to press pause on their relationship after two years together. "Kylie and Travis aren't officially calling it quits on their relationship, but are taking space apart," a source told E! News in early October. "It's not a firm split. They've been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month." Though they decided to take a break, Kylie, 22, and Travis, 28, continued to spend together, along with their daughter, Stormi Webster, 1. Now, it seems as though Kylie and Travis might already be back on. "Kylie and Travis are doing very well. Everyone thinks they are back together or already are," one insider tells E! News. "They haven't made anything official but it doesn't seem like much has changed. They love being together with Stormi and are happy doing that." "Travis has been around the last few days and things are going well," the source adds. "There are very positive vibes between them." The insider also shares that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the Astroworld rapper are planning to trick-or-treat together for Halloween with Stormi and they are "looking forward to it." "They will do something together as a family," the source says. "All the littlest cousins will be together at some point in their costumes. They will have candy at home and a little party. They also may go to a few houses in their community too." It was just days ago that Kylie and Travis reunited for a "family fun" night out with their daughter. The trio, along with Kourtney Kardashian and her two youngest kids, visited Nights of The Jack in Calabasas, Calif. "All parents were extremely hands on, and Kylie and Travis specifically were such a great team," a source shared with E! News. "They were very involved with Stormi, taking turns rolling her around in a pink, Ariel-themed stroller." The insider added that Kylie and Travis "were extremely attentive" with Stormi and "had their eyes on her at all times." (TMZ)

Sorry Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker Doesn't Like Shopping. Sarah Jessica Parker couldn't help but wonder, is she a shopaholic just like Carrie Bradshaw? As it turns out, the answer is a resounding no. "I'm not a crazy shopper," the Sex and the City alum admitted on Australia's 101.9 The Fox radio show. "I haven't been for many years. I mean, I think I used to be a little more so. But shopping sometimes can give me anxiety." "I feel bad," she continued. "If I buy something, I'm like, 'Oh do I really need that? Will I want that in five years? Is that going to look good on me in 5 years?'" However, she has picked up Carrie's hoarding habits, which husband Matthew Broderick just can't seem to understand. "I keep thinking like, 'Oh what about when I retire?' which Matt is like, 'We're never going to retire,'" the actress revealed. "But I 'll be like in my closet like, 'I should definitely keep that sweater because when I retire, when I'm in Ireland." Indeed, slowing down doesn't seem to be in the cards for the married duo. In fact, come 2020, they are set to reunite on Broadway for the revival of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite. "A classic American comedy A Legendary playwright An actor whom I get to love onstage and off 2 actors, 6 roles," Parker wrote on Instagram, announcing the news. "Neil Simon's comedy about love, marriage, children and all the absurdity and heartbreak that can happen in room 719... I feel I've waited a lifetime." (Eonline)

Judge Judy's birthday wish list was a little steep for her husband, but she says he did his best -- and, let's be real ... she can easily buy anything she wants, anyway. We got JJ and her hubs, fellow jurist Jerry Sheindlin, Monday at the Montage in Bev Hills and wished her a happy birthday ... and she dished on what he got her. It seems Jerry came up a bit short on the brand new Aston Martin she requested, but ya gotta see his pretty hilarious explanation for getting her the next best thing. Speaking of gifts, our photog gave Judge Judy a birthday card and a lifetime pass to take a TMZ Celebrity Tour. We won't hold our breath, though, sounds like she's a little too busy to take advantage anytime soon. Judy's now 77, but she's still signed on to do her show for a couple more years and like she tells us ... retirement's not really her jam. HBD, Your Honor!!! (TMZ)

Kylie Jenner's viral "rise and shine" moment had an even bigger impact than you might've seen on Twitter or Instagram ... it hit a 10-figure benchmark on another platform. Sources at the video creation app, TikTok, tell us the hashtag #RiseandShine hit a billion views this week ... just days after Kylie's mom-voice singing for baby Stormi went viral and took over the Internet. That's not to say her OG clip was viewed a billion times on TikTok. There have been countless recreations of the moment, but that's how many times people have watched #RiseandShine related content. Yes, that's TikTok's fastest-growing trend. Here's the breakdown on Kylie's stats. On October 16 -- the day Kylie posted her melodic voice -- #RiseandShine hit 4 million views in one day. One day later it skyrocketed to 70 million views ... and by Sunday night, we're told #RiseandShine hit the billion mark. We know Kylie and some other Kardashians have deals in place with certain social media platforms -- but she does NOT have one with TikTok. There's a billion reasons why someone might wanna get on the phone. Just sayin' ... (TMZ)

Lori Loughlin's daughters Olivia Jade, Isabella Giannulli no longer enrolled at USC. Lori Loughlin's daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli, are no longer enrolled at the University of Southern California. The university registrar said in a statement Monday that the sisters aren't enrolled at the school, but couldn't provide additional information, citing student privacy laws. Prosecutors have said their parents, "Fuller House" star Loughlin, 55, and her fashion-designer hubby, Mossimo Giannulli, forked over $500,000 to bribe their daughters' way into USC as bogus rowing recruits. They have pleaded not guilty to their alleged role in the nationwide college admissions scandals. Their trials are expected to begin in 2020. USC has been reviewing the admissions of 33 current students tied to the scandal. (PageSix)

Suge Knight's rise and fall is going to be immortalized in writing ... and he says he's tapped Nick Cannon to write the book. Suge shared the big news Monday during a phone call from his state prison in San Diego ... revealing Nick's plan to author the story of his life. So, why Nick?!? Suge says he considers him one of the most respected people in Hollywood, and that's why he's trusting Nick with the monumental biography task. Nick's joining Ray J in helping Suge cash in on his legacy ... as we first told you, the former Death Row Records boss signed over his life rights to Ray J, giving Ray the green light to use his likeness in movies, music, publications and all types of media. Suge clarified that Ray J won't be the only one calling the shots, saying his fiancee Toi-Linn Kelly has his power of attorney. However, we've seen the contract with Ray, and it gives him creative control. In fact, Suge says Ray is also going to handle the future of Death Row Records, and it sounds like there's a new album in the works. Suge sounds confident he'll be out of prison sooner than later. As we've reported, he struck a 28-year plea deal in his murder case last year, but due to prison overcrowding and getting credit for time served ... he could be released in little over a decade. One thing's for certain ... Suge's got a helluva tale, so Nick's got his work cut out for him. (TMZ)

TMZ's Van Lathan Fired after newsroom spat with Michael Babcock. If only TMZ had been there to film it! Page Six is told that veteran TMZ personality Van Lathan has been fired after getting into a nasty confrontation with fellow star, Michael Babcock. We're told that the pair appeared on the site's online show "TMZ Live" together about a week and a half ago and had some kind of disagreement. The on-air face-off has been edited out, we're told, but sources say they were sparring over politics, which has increasingly come between them. Lathan famously went head-to-head with Kanye West last year over the rapper's claims that slavery was "a choice." Meanwhile, we're told Babcock leans to the right. Sources say that Lathan confronted Babcock in the newsroom after the segment and told him there would be trouble if he "ever embarrassed [Lathan] like that again." Insiders say Lathan met with the site's attorneys and he was suspended. He was dismissed a few days later, we're told. An insider defended Lathan -- who also hosts the "Red Pill" podcast -- saying that in the site's high-pressure newsroom, staffers are often pitted against each other for the sake of making good TV. "Van's not mean-spirited. Anything that happened is a product of that environment," said an insider. Sources also said that Lathan had been "a huge part" of the success of TMZ over the past few years and they were stunned he had been fired over the incident. When reached for comment, Lathan declined to comment without speaking to an attorney, Babcock hung up on us, and TMZ didn't get back to us. (PageSix)

Hunter Biden has agreed to take a paternity test to prove he's not the father of a baby of an Arkansas woman who's suing him to prove otherwise, according to court documents. Hunter, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, is working out the "protocol and procedure" for the DNA test and expects to have the results before a December hearing in Arkansas, the court papers say. Lunden Alexis Roberts, 28, filed a petition for paternity and child support against Hunter last May, claiming he's the father of her baby, who was born in August 2018. She wants a court to establish that Hunter -- now at the center of Trump impeachment storm -- is the baby's biological dad, and is seeking child support and health insurance for the now-14-month-old toddler. Hunter, 49, married Melissa Cohen two weeks before the petition was filed. The birth of the child came while Hunter was in a relationship with Hallie Biden, his late brother Beau's wife. (Page Six)
