• Accused pedophile and wealthy Manhattan financier Jeffrey Epstein was found injured and in a fetal position inside his cell at a New York City jail. Two sources said that Epstein may have tried to hang himself, while a third source cautioned that the injuries were not serious and questioned if Epstein might be using it as a way to get a transfer.
• All of the 32 NFL franchises will have reported to Training Camp by today.
• A new study claims that cats are getting fatter. Cats continue gaining weight well into adulthood, and the average weight of a neutered, adult domestic cat has increased over the past twenty years or so.
• Tesla stock slipped after reporting larger than expected losses in the second quarter. They lost $408 million, even though they enjoyed record sales.
• "Game of Thrones" are still grumbling about that final episode, but the head of HBO says there's not going to be a re-do.
• Anne Hathaway is pregnant with baby number two.
• Princess Eugenie, one of the few royals to maintain her own Instagram page, offered wedding anniversary congratulations to her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who got married 33 years ago and have been divorced for 23 years. That fuels rumors that the two may be about to get back together.
• Nearly 80,000 tons of mobile phones and small electronic devices around Japan, are being used to make every gold, silver and bronze Olympic and Paralympic medal awarded to athletes at next year's games. There expect to be roughly 5,000 medals given out between the two games, according to Tokyo 2020.
• More extreme heat for Europe this week. In fact, Paris broke its all-time record high of 104.7 degrees by hitting 108 yesterday. Records could also fall in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
• Faye Dunaway has been fired from the Broadway-bound play, "Tea at Five." In it, she was playing the part of Katherine Hepburn.
