You Tube superstar JoJo Siwa, known for her upbeat, online persona and sparkly attitude, has just earned some not so sparkly news. The 16-year-old singer and dancer partnered with accessories store giant, Claire's, to bring her a one-of-kind make up kit, which contained eyeshadow, two lip glosses and nail polish, to her teenage fans. But now, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has deemed the fun-filled makeup kit as dangerous after it was tested positive for asbestos. The FDA wasted no time in issuing a warning to stop using the product it was quickly recalled from the Claire's shelves. On June 6, the FDA released a formal statement about the product's recall reasoning on Twitter. "Today, the FDA is releasing new results from its continued testing of cosmetic products for asbestos & is warning consumers to not use 2 additional products that have tested positive for asbestos & have been recalled," the statement read along with an image of Siwa's metallic, heart-shaped set. According to USA TODAY, The FDA announcement regarding Siwa's makeup kit comes just three months after other Claire's products were pulled from the shelves for also containing asbestos. Though the FDA has spoken out about the product, Siwa has yet to make a statement regarding the recall. The young star first gained famed after appearing on the hit show "Dance Moms" when she was just a child. Now, a teenager, Siwa took her dancing and singing talents to social media where she has become a breakout star with her own YouTube channel which boasts 9.8 million subscribers. The "Kid in a Candy Store" singer, who tours the country performing some of her fan-favorite singles, also has celebrity fans of her own -- the biggest probably being Kim Kardashian West's daughter, North. Back in March, Kardashian West dropped off her daughter for a playdate with her favorite celeb at her colorful home. Both Siwa and North, who sported matching rainbow, side ponytails with large hair bows for the occasion, documented their afternoon with the young singer-dancer exclaiming how fun it was to "babysit" the reality show star's oldest child. "I had so much fun Pretend babysitting Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West's little girl North West!" Siwa wrote on YouTube after the pair's playdate. The star also gifted her top fan with a pair of tickets to her D.R.E.A.M. The Tour concert -- an event which the singer encouraged North to bring cousin Penelope Scotland, 61/2, along for. "My baby girl North had her dream of life come true! She got to spend the day with @itsjojosiwa #speechless #bff #Only5Once," Kardashian West tweeted after North's day with her idol. Siwa's babysitting video has now gained more than 16 million views on YouTube. (People)

Boston Red Sox Legend David Ortiz Shot and Wounded in the Dominican Republic: Reports. David Ortiz, best known for playing with the Boston Red Sox, has been shot and wounded in the Dominican Republic, according to multiple reports. The 43-year-old former MLB slugger, affectionately called "Big Papi" by fans, was hospitalized on Sunday after he was shot during a burglary attempt at an amusement center in his hometown of Santo Domingo, ESPN reports. "They called me to tell me that David is injured and that they took him to a medical center, but they did not tell me how he is or exactly where he was transferred," his father Leo confirmed to ESPN. Dominican TV station CDN 37 reports Ortiz, who retired after the 2016 season, was shot in the back. Felix Duran Meja, the spokesman of the National Police of the Dominican Republic, confirmed the incident to CNN Espanol, which reported that Ortiz was injured in the back by a bullet. The baseball star spent 14 of his 20 major league seasons with the Red Sox, becoming a 10-time All-Star, three-time World Series champion and one American League MVP. Ortiz has been working as an MLB studio analyst for Fox Sports, working alongside Alex Rodriguez, Kevin Burkhardt and Frank Thomas. Reps for Ortiz and a spokesperson for Fox Sports did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment. News of Ortiz's reported incident comes after a Colorado couple alleged that they fell ill at the same resort in the Dominican Republic where three American tourists died over a five-day period in May. On Tuesday, the U.S. State Department confirmed the three Americans tourists' deaths to PEOPLE and said in a statement that the U.S. Embassy "is actively monitoring the investigations by Dominican authorities into these tragic deaths. We stand ready to provide assistance as requested." Robin Bernstein, the ambassador of the United States to the Dominican Republic, said the recent high-profile incidents involving American tourists in the Caribbean island nation -- including the assault of a woman at another resort -- were isolated cases, according to Univision. Cuba Gooding Jr. accused of groping woman at NYC club. The NYPD is investigating a woman's claim that actor Cuba Gooding Jr. inappropriately touched her at a Manhattan club Sunday night, police sources said. The 30-year-old woman told cops the actor grabbed her breast while they were socializing around 9 p.m. at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge on 7th Avenue in Midtown. The woman said Gooding was "highly intoxicated" and that she got into an argument with him after the grab that had to be broken up by security, the sources said. Gooding was caught on video leaving the club soon after the incident and the woman called 911 around 1 a.m. Responding cops searched the area for Gooding but did not find him. The case was referred to the NYPD's Special Victims Division, the sources said. He is being sought on a charge of forcible touching. The 51-year-old "Jerry Maguire" star has most recently been linked to Claudine De Niro, the estranged wife of Robert De Niro's son Raphael. Reps for the actor didn't immediately return messages. Todd Chrisley's son doesn't have to sweat criminal charges from his Oklahoma drug bust, but only because he's in even bigger trouble in another state. A rep for the Okmulgee County District Court tells TMZ ... the D.A. will not prosecute Kyle Chrisley ... who was arrested last month when cops found methamphetamine in his car. TMZ broke the story ... Kyle was pulled over for a broken headlight, but body cam footage showed the moment officers found the drugs in a cup. Despite that evidence ... we're told the D.A.'s Office is dropping the felony drug possession charge, partly because Kyle's facing a more serious charge in Georgia for allegedly threatening his wife. The other problem with the Oklahoma case is the cup with the drugs was in the center console of Kyle's vehicle, as opposed to on his person. We're told it would've been more difficult to prove. Meanwhile, in Dekalb County, GA ... Kyle's estranged wife has told cops he threatened to kill her. A judge signed off on a warrant for his arrest earlier this year after reviewing texts she says he sent, saying things like, "[N]ot before I end you." Kyle was booked for terroristic threats and released on his own recognizance -- but not before posing for another mug shot. Todd's had a rocky relationship with his son -- he only appeared in one season of the family's hit USA reality show, "Chrisley Knows Best." But, we're guessing, at this point, Kyle would say ... one problem at a time. (TMZ)

Kevin Hart's bodyguards violently bowled over an innocent bystander on the street as they were escorting Kevin out of an event, leaving the woman with a broken face ... this according to a new lawsuit. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Carmen Marrero claims she was minding her own business this January on a New York City sidewalk when Kevin and his security team came barreling out of a building, knocking her to the ground in the ensuing scrum. Kevin was inside the building for a screening of his movie, "The Upside" ... and Marrero's attorney, Richard Russo, tells us she was crossing the street and walking past a small crowd gathered outside the screening when one of Kevin's bodyguards started shoving people, throwing her to the ground, which caused her to fracture her face. Marrero is suing Kevin, his production company and SAG-AFTRA for assault and battery ... and she's going after them for money. We reached out to Kevin ... so far, radio silence. (TMZ)

Red Cafe got hit with something way more than a late charge for not returning a rental car on time -- he got arrested, and now could be facing serious jail time. The Brooklyn rapper was busted last week for vehicle theft after Beverly Hills PD learned of a stolen car -- a 2018 Chevy Impala rental -- parked on the street. According to law enforcement ... officers saw Red Cafe get in the car and start to drive away. He did not get far ... they quickly pulled him over and took him into custody. Red was booked on a felony count of unlawful taking/driving of a vehicle -- and released on a $25,000 bond. The rapper's scheduled to appear in court next month. In hindsight ... the "God Wanted Us To Be Lit" rapper probably would have been better off just booking a long-term rental. Live and learn, right? We reached out to Red's camp, but so far ... no word back. (TMZ)
