Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Pledge $2 Million in Support of Migrant Children's Rights. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have donated $2 million to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund (LDF) and the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights. According to a press release from Wednesday, Sept. 4, the A-list celebs explain that they made the hefty donation to the non-profit organizations in order to "defend the rights and best interests of immigrant children." "We're blown away by the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Young Center's commitment to not only justice and democracy, but humanity," Ryan and Blake's heartfelt statement reads. "Over the last few years, our perspective has grown and we've realized we have to do everything possible to foster more compassion and empathy in this world." The statement concludes, "History's being written right now. We're grateful to give back to organizations who give voice to so many." With their donation, the LDF and Young Center will be able to provide much needed support for their social justice initiatives. This isn't the first and definitely won't be the last time that the Deadpool and The Age of Adaline star supported a good cause. Over the years, Ryan has been an avid supporter of organizations like F -- k Cancer and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Thanks to his role in Deadpool, the action star has been able to bring kids for set visits, in collaboration with the Make-a-Wish foundation. And when others were unable to leave their hospital rooms, he FaceTimed them in full makeup and costume from the set of Deadpool 2. And in 2008, Reynolds ran the notoriously difficult New York City marathon as a representative for the Michael J. Fox Foundation's team. The celebrity did this to honor the battle that his father fought with Parkinson's disease. He now sits on the board of directors for the foundation and continues to advocate for research into the disease. There's no doubt that he and wife Blake will instill their drive to do good in their daughters, Inez and James, as well as their soon to be born third child. (Eonline)

Princess Charlotte Is the Most Confident Student on Her First Day of School. Princess Charlotte has officially kicked off her first day of school and nothing has ever been so royally adorable. On Thursday morning, the 4-year-old arrived at Thomas's Battersea in London with her family at around 8:20 local time. While she entered the schoolyard, she clutched mom Kate Middleton's hand and big brother Prince George walked alongside dad Prince William. Both royal kids were dressed in their required school uniforms. For Charlotte, that was navy skirt and matching cardigan with the school's logo on it, white socks and black Mary Janes. Meanwhile, George looked dapper in a similar sweater, blue Bermuda shorts, blue blue socks and black shoes. Though originally a bit apprehensive, Charlotte e confidentially approached the head of the Lower School Helen Haslem and shook her hand. (George is an old pro at first days as he's been attending the school since 2017.) Proud parents Will and Kate, clutching their backpacks, couldn't help but smile at their grownup kids. Their cheeky daughter then flipped her ponytail and gave a wave to photographers before heading inside. The moment was especially exciting because Kate was there to witness it. After all, when George first enrolled at the school, she was pregnant with Prince Louis and unable to join her first born at school because she was suffering from severe morning sickness. Back in May, Kensington Palace officially announced that Charlotte would join her brother at Thomas's Battersea -- just a few miles from the palace! -- come the fall. "We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas's Battersea," the school's headmaster, Simon O'Malley, said at the time. "We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September." The pricey private school, which boasts nearly 600 students aged 4 to 13, features a wide range of classes in its curriculum, from math and science to art, ballet, drama and French. Best of luck of Charlotte and George this year! (Eonline)

How Princess Charlotte Added a Personal Touch to Her Backpack for the First Day of School. Charlotte already hinted at her love of unicorns over the summer! Princess Charlotte headed to her first day of school with the cutest accessory! On Thursday, the 4-year-old royal started at Thomas's Battersea, the private school near the family's Kensington Palace home that Prince George has been attending for the past two years. The little princess wore her new uniform. Both royal siblings also had a navy backpack (kindly carried by their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William!) with the school's red logo -- and Princess Charlotte added a touch of her sparkly personality. In a video shared by Kensington Palace of George and Charlotte shaking hands with the head of the lower school, Helen Haslem, Kate flips her daughter's backpack around to reveal a sequined unicorn keychain attached to the bag. The adorable accessory will no doubt be a fun item for Princess Charlotte to show off to all her new friends! Charlotte previously displayed her love of unicorns in July, when the family came out to support Prince William and Prince Harry in their charity polo match. In a photo shared by the Irish Guards later that month to wish George a happy sixth birthday, the little princess is seen clutching a unicorn purse as she stands front and center (and adorably steals a look at Domhnall, the furry mascot of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards.) Princess Charlotte continued to hang onto the wristlet from TY as she played with a polo mallet. Charlotte was accompanied by George and parents Prince William and Kate Middleton as she walked into Thomas's Battersea in London on Thursday morning. The family arrived at around 8.20 a.m. London time. Initially clutching mom Kate's right hand with both of hers, a shy Charlotte then relaxed her grip as she walked across the schoolyard. A few steps away, her big brother held the hand of their dad Prince William. At the door, they were met by the head of lower school, Helen Haslem, who first greeted, before turning to the princess starting school. As she turned to walk through the doors, Charlotte tentatively looked towards photographers and gave a small wave. (PageSix)

Britney Spears is rocking a new hairdo! On Wednesday the "Gimme More" singer, 37, debuted brown tresses on Instagram, revealing her sister Jamie Lynn Spears inspired the look. "Same faces, same dress, new hair!!!!!" Spears captioned a video, which shows her smiling and sticking her tongue out. "Yes, my sister inspired me to go dark!!!!" Spears added of the look, which is much different from her signature blonde hair. The last time Spears opted for the darker hue was back in 2013. Spears' boyfriend Sam Asghari showed his support for the switch-up writing, "Beautiful blond or black," in the comment section of the post. In addition to showering Spears with compliments, Asghari revealed in an interview airing Wednesday on Entertainment Tonight that he "absolutely" sees marriage in his future with the star. "This is something that every couple should do. That's the whole point of a relationship -- we are a family," Asghari told ET when asked if he has plans to pop the question. It's been over two years since the pair were first romantically linked after meeting on the set of Spears' "Slumber Party" music video. Asghari also shared that he has an "absolutely amazing" relationship with her sons Sean Preston, 13, and Jayden James, 12, Federline. His interview comes after news broke that Spears' father Jamie allegedly got into an altercation with Sean. A source told PEOPLE that Spears is "upset" with her father over the incident, explaining "Both of Britney's boy are very well-behaved and well-mannered." "What happened with Jamie and Sean was very unfortunate and definitely not right," said the source, who added that their alleged fight on Aug. 24 began after Sean "locked himself in a room" after his grandfather asked him to do something "he wasn't interested in doing." Jamie, 67, "got very angry," and according to The Blast, then broke down the door. "There was physical contact that made Sean scared and upset," says the source. "Britney got upset as well and ended their visit with Jamie." The singer -- who now shares custody of her kids with ex-husband Kevin Federline -- "can't believe that her dad would jeopardize her relationship with her boys," added the source. "Britney is always terrified that she will lose custody." A rep and a lawyer for Spears did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE. Jamie also did not respond to calls for comment. The day after the alleged altercation, Federline, 41, filed a police report at the Ventura County Sheriff's station with his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. "Kevin got extremely angry when he heard what happened," says the source. "His reaction does seem appropriate." According to Kaplan's testimony as recorded in the police report, Spears' 12-year-old son Jayden was also present during Jamie and Sean's fight. "Britney did the right thing and removed the children and took them out of there," Kaplan previously told PEOPLE, adding that Federline still wants his sons to have "continuing and meaningful contact with their mother." Spears' sons were also recently granted a restraining order against their grandfather that was filed by Federline and Kaplan. Kaplan confirmed to PEOPLE earlier on Tuesday that Spears and Federline came to a new child custody arrangement last week which gives Spears 10 percent of custodial rights and Federline 90 percent. Kaplan tells PEOPLE Spears' visits are required to be supervised. (People)

Ric Flair believes the WWE is ripping him off -- using the phrase The Man without his permission ... and now he's threatening legal action. Flair says he's been referring to himself as The Man since 1981 -- and even holds the trademark for his famous catchphrase, "To be the man, you gotta beat the man." The problem ... one of WWE's biggest stars -- Becky Lynch -- has been referring to herself as The Man over the past year and the nickname has become a huge hit with fans. Ric tells TMZ Sports ... he was trying to work out an amicable, private agreement with WWE where they would pay him to allow Becky to continue to use the name, but WWE blew him off. In fact, Ric says he escalated the situation to WWE executive, Triple H ... but they still couldn't reach an agreement. So, on August 26, he filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to own the term, The Man, specifically as it relates to pro wrestling. Now, Ric says the WWE is pissed at him for making the move -- and it's caused a rift between himself and his daughter Charlotte Flair, a current WWE superstar herself. Flair says he has NO beef with Becky Lynch -- and supports the WWE's women's division -- but business is business and he wants what he believes he's rightfully owed. Ric says if the USPTO grants him the trademark, he'll happily let Becky use it ... as long as WWE pays him -- because "I want it to take care of my family." And, if he doesn't get paid, Ric says he's willing to explore his legal options to force WWE's hand. During our conversation, Ric emotionally explains why the most important thing to him is making sure the people he loves -- especially his wife, Wendy Barlow -- are financially secure after he dies ... and that's why he's willing to fight for The Man. "When I almost died two years ago, one person stayed by me [Wendy]. The whole time -- 31 days in the ICU, 12 days while I was dying on a respirator -- and I'm gonna take care of her, and her family, and my family that has taken care of me no matter what." Flair adds ... "I don't care what the WWE thinks of me personally, I know they love me, but obviously they've lost respect for me." (TMZ)

MGM to Use Vegas Shooting Site as Community Center. MGM Resorts plans to convert the shuttered Las Vegas Strip festival grounds that were the site of a 2017 mass shooting into a community and athletic center and parking for the new stadium being built for the NFL's Oakland Raiders, the company announced Tuesday. It will also create a space on the property to remember the victims. The festival grounds "will forever be linked to the tragic loss of life that took place there," MGM said in its statement. "We will never forget the victims, and all of those impacted by that evening." The company owns the site of Route 91 festival grounds and the Mandalay Bay casino-resort, where a gunman in a high-rise suite opened fire on the crowd of 22,000, killing 58 people in the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history. The company did not release a timeline for the plans, but says it wants to create a community and athletic center on the north end of the property, which MGM says it hopes will host high school basketball tournaments, indoor soccer for children and a practice space for the WNBA team, the Las Vegas Aces. "It was important to us that the long-term use of the property include the community in some way," the company said in its statement. MGM said that until the community and athletic center is completed, the property will serve as parking for games and concerts at the new $1.9 billion stadium being built for the Raiders when the team moves to Las Vegas next year.
